Review on Genuine Hyundai Filter 26320 3C100 Case by Mike Skinner

I bought 10 of these for my 2 Sonatas from another seller a few years ago and never had a problem with them. I have used 2 out of 5 from this DD Autoparts seller and both of my cars had a knock on start. This is usually a complaint about using cheap aftermarket filters and is the main reason I've been using original filters for years. I never had a problem until I installed this new batch from DC Auto Parts. I bought 5 and used 2 on 2 different machines. None of them tapped before installing these filters. After installation both knocked on startup after being idle overnight or about 6 hours or more. I chose to install Wix 57061 as I've always used Wix in all my other cars and the knocking went away after the first start and didn't come back even after a few days of sitting. I'm going to throw away the remaining 3 filters I received from this batch and use Wix from now on. I don't know if this is fake or just a bad batch but I would never expect this from a genuine filter.
