Confusing installation and idiotic service

I installed a 2012 Ram 2500 with this kit. There are several kits that will let you know if they will fit your truck on this website and the Daystar website. First I bought the KC09124 kit. The U-bolts were the wrong shape. I returned this kit and bought the KC09130. Everything looked fine and I made sure the U-bolts matched my axle before taking everything apart. I put the blocks in place and started installing the U-Bolts only to find I had a heck of a lot of time to install the mounting bracket on the ends of the U-Bolts. I started tightening everything with damaged threads on the U-bolts (meaning the item cannot now be returned). After tightening the nuts as far as my impact bushing would allow, there was a few inches left. The saber saw arrived because I didn't have time to take it all apart and put it back together to get a new set (and as I said the current set was already damaged). I cut the bolts right where the nuts left off and put the impact wrench back on. About the time the first nut reaches the bracket, I run out of threads. I have even less time now because I have to haul my truck (which is only halfway to my garage) out of my garage for the night. The photo posted shows what I had to do to finish the job. I went and bought some metal rods and used a drill press to line up the holes in the mounting plates. Only then was I able to get the U-bolts to work. What should have taken an hour with my experience and tools took me and my buddy four hours to install. By the way, I'm not a total idiot. I know this is not a permanent solution. I pulled the truck out of the garage knowing I had to replace the U-bolts. I called Daystar to see if they could help. To their credit they helped me find the right KC09132ST kit (note that Revain says each of these kits will fit my truck and Daystar is listed as the seller of each). When I explained my situation and told them I just wanted the U-bolts without the whole kit (mind you I didn't even ask them to give them away for free), they told me to buy the whole kit . for $127.00. I kept pushing them, insisting I didn't even need new nuts and washers, just U-bolts. They still refused and tried to convince me that the lifting blocks have different tapers in different sets. They were embarrassed to tell me how big the difference is or why it matters (btw I know a big difference gives my rear axle a LITTLE different angle, but I've lifted enough trucks to know that a few degrees have very little value in the long run). So I'm looking for a set of U-bolts (which should cost me $30 max) to match my axles and spring pack. And all I can find are the ones that come with a full rear lift kit. Check other reviews on this one; I should. I'm not the only person with this issue and Daystar should be aware of this by now. However, they continue to sell these kits to people and Revane will tell you they will fit in your truck.
