I was a little hesitant due to some feedback that some of the four packages weren't working. I can say that the first two I took out of the box worked great, but I haven't tried the other two yet. I have one set to 9 volt output to charge my Midland radios. If I remember correctly, this charging station only draws about 0.4 amps. And the other I installed on the 10 volt output for a portable radio amateur's basic charger. This starts to draw about 1.2 amps and stabilizes to about 0.8 amps within about 5 minutes and runs (I think) about two hours on this output. I've felt it with my fingers while charging and checked for excessive heat, and I'm satisfied that while it's warm, it never gets too hot to touch constantly. I can use a 5v portable battery pack used to charge my cell phone etc along with these boost boards to remotely charge my devices which normally require 120v household voltage when I am camping etc. Very satisfied!
