Definitely great for beginners! Especially if you want to see if you like it before you spend a lot of money on a good one. It burns very well with wood! Be sure to try different types of wood and see what suits you To you! I personally love oak. It's easy and pops a lot better than greenwood which is another wood I had on hand. Otherwise the templates are amazing and overall I highly recommend buying this if you are a beginner, trying new hobby!
