Review on Microplane 38004 Professional Stainless Construction by Gerald Mcrae

So I bought them as a gift. The product works as described, but what annoys me is the utter thoughtlessness that Microplane put into its packaging! This product comes in a plastic bag which is fine BUT they put stickers on the blade itself and on the sheath that covers the blade (NOT the plastic bag!). These stickers are not made of "plastic" and tear off easily! OH NO. They're cheap, horrible stickers that peel off when you try to remove them, leaving paper and glue behind. The type you need to use some sort of WD40 or other chemical to help it loosen (that's exactly what you want to use for a food tool! right?!?!?). I've attached a photo of how the blade looks after 12 hours in a bucket of water and many minutes of scrubbing. NOT impressed with the Microplane, not at all!
