I had to move my Wi-Fi router to our basement and our signal dropped on all our devices. After adding this, our devices were able to get a much stronger signal. I recommend giving the extender a name that is different from your router's SSID. I just added "_ext" which makes it easier to figure out which signal is which. The interface is easy to use and I was able to set it up very quickly. You may need to place it in different locations in your home to get the best possible connection between your router and this extension. I've been using this for several months with no problems except when we had a power outage. I had to unplug and plug it back in for a quick reboot. After that everything worked great.
