Items are individually boxed (I bought multiple sets) and all parts are sealed to prevent falling apart. The latches were actually the easiest to install as the long bolts connecting the outside and inside were already there so you just had to thread the ends of the bolts through the inside mechanism, thread and tighten. I've never seen this before, but it makes a huge difference when the job is done quickly. Entering the keys is so easy that in 15 minutes all 6 locks were bound to the same 4 keys, which will be the case the next time I change keys 5 minutes later (e.g. if one of the kids loses their key again). If you want security and ease of use, put these locks on your next change. You will not regret it. '!'
