Items are individually boxed (I bought multiple sets) and all parts are sealed to prevent falling apart. The lock company genius tried to simplify this by telling you not to unscrew the long screws. it was a headache. See picture, this seller seems to be selling a manufacturing defect or something. One of the two locks had a serious blemish. There is a fair bit missing when turning the thumb on the latch. The nickel plating is added, so it's definitely a manufacturer's fault. It's fairly uneven, but not so rough that it cuts itself. I usually buy a Juno Kwikset Smart Key but I was in dire need of a full rental set so I bought a Tylo Kwikset Smart Key. And they were cheaper, which I think is a plus. There are 7 items in total including bolts and handles. One went out of the box, the key holder jumped out of the handle. Does not work with older Kwikset keys. I bought smart key locks so I can replace them with many of the existing Kwikset entry keys I already have for many of the same KS entry locks I have now. The smart key and lock may look like the 40 year old KS keys and locks, but they are THIN. The smart key fits old existing locks. Old keys do not fit the Smart Lock. Here is my problem.
