See picture, this seller seems to be selling a manufacturing defect or something. One of the two locks had a serious blemish. There is a fair bit missing when turning the thumb on the latch. The nickel plating is added, so it's definitely a manufacturer's fault. It's fairly uneven, but not so rough that it cuts itself. This poses some danger, if you are unaware, twist the lock aggressively and clip your finger on one of the sharp edges. I contacted the seller and they wanted me to take the lock off and send it back which is ridiculous as I already had the lock installed and would have to do without a lock on my door. They offered an alternative of providing a credit card before sending me a replacement and then sending the defect back, which for such an obvious defect seems sketchy and unnecessarily complicated. Hard pass, I'll be shopping at Lowe's next time.
