For regular users it seems normal.
Not a bad unit if you are ONLY replacing the factory head unit. There are no instructions included so you must know what you are doing beforehand. Finally, the device does not turn off completely, EVER. Remains in "standby" mode when the ignition is turned off, you need to turn it off manually every time you turn off the car. UPDATE: There is a red wire that needs to be cut in order for the unit to turn off when ignited and not drain the battery. I found this information on a forum. DO NOT expect any qualified help from the seller.
