I bought 16GB of this memory for my son's laptop. But just out of curiosity, I first installed it on my own Dell E5540 laptop. My laptop already had 16GB of high-speed memory from PNY, so I wasn't expecting a performance boost. but I was just curious how it would compare to the much more expensive memory my Dell had. To my great surprise, my laptop booted almost twice as fast as usual. I found it weird so I put the PNY memory back into my laptop and tried again. and he immediately returned to his usual work. So I reinstalled this Timetec memory in my Dell and again saw a dramatic improvement in its performance. So I think it's a really good product. At least on my computer it outperforms memory bought at a much higher price and I am very happy with the product.
