My daughter's 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer appears to be fixed. Their low beams just went out intermittently, which was pretty scary. She was able to return home, but I advised her not to drive at night until I had examined her. When I googled the problem it turned out to be a common problem on this car as well as several other GM vehicles. For the Trailblazer, this simply meant ordering this part and replacing the #46 relay in the fuse box under the hook (on the driver's side in the engine bay). Tools are not required. The fuse box only has a couple of tabs holding the cover in place. The circuit is under the cover. Find number 46. It's as simple as unplugging the old part and plugging in the new one. If you are having this problem then this is the part you need unless it is something more serious that is causing this part to fail. However, my research shows that this will fix the problem at least 90% of the time.
