I got my thermal printer in the mail today. Installation would have been quick, but my lid wasn't fully closed, so it wasn't responding. As soon as I realized that a little more nudge was needed, the light turned blue and everything calmed down like a breeze. I went to my Etsy shop and printed out all the postage for this weekend's sales, it was easy. I have had a Dymo 4XL for 8 years, it was a great machine and it broke recently. I chose this device because of the price. This machine worked seamlessly with my Etsy account, just make sure the Label Printer option is checked when printing postage. If you're wondering how it compares to the Dymo, this printer feels more substantial, it no longer feels chunky and cheap. Changing labels is the easiest and best. It has an on/off switch and Dymo doesn't. You can also use perforated label rolls, which are generally cheaper than specialty Dymo labels, although I've tried my Dymo labels and they worked fine, but this machine doesn't have a cutter so you'll have to tear or cut them yourself first. It's nice to know that I can still use my old labels. I'll be checking back regularly throughout the year on how this is going as I know many of my friends on Etsy are interested. changing my 4 star rating to 5 stars! This is amazing stuff! I print hundreds of care labels and shipping labels each month and have never had a problem. Changing labels is easy, printing is quick and clear, and the software even makes label creation a breeze. My favorite part is still being able to turn it off because I couldn't turn off my old Dymo printer. This machine puts my old Dymo to shame in every way and honestly for the price you can't beat it!
