The 14" x 17" chopping board (cost: $16.58) I received had no handle (okay, I didn't want a handle); it was actually 13.8 x 16.8 inches (I agree), but it was only 0.34 inches (11/32 inches) thick. So this cutting board is NOT 0.38" (3/8"+) thick. 3/8" (0.375") is the absolute minimum allowable thickness for a polyester cutting board of this size (14x17" +/-). The specified thickness (0.38") is incorrect. The board I received , is flat and is on the plane it's too subtle to be considered reasonable or acceptable If this board cost less than $10 then it would be reasonable for the price Also I bought a Dexas 11 x 14, 5 x 0.3" cutting board for $12.99. The cutting board I received was 10.625 x 14.3 x 0.28". (9/32"). It was packaged in a thin, unpadded plastic envelope and arrived approximately 1/16" slightly curved. It was NOT flat and was not on a plane. Therefore it can only be used face down as it slides face up across the surface of the countertop. Again are 0.28" too thin for an 11" x 14.5" chopping board, although for a smaller chopping board, say we 8.5 inches x 11 inches, would be acceptable. The cutting board I received was less than $5.
