🍳 Dexas NSF Polysafe Pastry/Cutting Board with Well, 15 by 20 inches, White - Durable Kitchen Tool for Clean and Efficient Food Preparation Review

I was looking forward to a new sturdy chopping board, it already has plenty of marks from every crush from my knives and doesn't look like it will last very long. Maybe that's typical for a cutting board like this, but it's not what I expected. Washes well in the dishwasher or by hand.

This chopping board is exactly what I wanted. It's simple, clean and big. It would have been 5 stars except it arrived with a slight crease or crease. This keeps it from sitting on my counter and shifting. I put some heavy objects in it hoping it would fix the problem. If it doesn't lay flat, it's useless in my kitchen.

I was really happy to finally find a PP cutting board that was made in the USA and not China so I bought two. I really want to be able to give this product 5 stars based on that, but after one wash the boards warped so they didn't lay flat on the counter and twisted when I tried to cut them. Still usable, but quite annoying.

I bought this board because it's made in the USA. I use it to trim 5 lbs. chicken once a month (cooking pet food), nothing else. I change sides. Traces appeared immediately. After a few months, the plastic started peeling off and probably got into the food. I was stupid enough to buy 3 packs of these Dexas boards. Everyone did the same. Definitely not recommend.

The size was exactly what I was looking for. However, the cutting board is very thin (3/8 inch) so the juice groove is so shallow it will hardly be of any use. The board has 1/16 warp so if I cut with the groove up the board will rock on the table. The price was also $7 more than the local store but they were out of stock. Dissatisfied; I wish I had more choices in this size.

We bought this to put on our new work station sink. My wife cut a tomato and an avocado on him and he's already scarred. She hardly exerted any pressure. I can't imagine what happens to that if we actually have to start cutting hard or if we have to use a serrated edge. We have a board that we have used extensively over the past 6 years from Wally World with almost no scars. Dimensions are listed as "15" x 9.5" x 0.5" but definitely not 0.5" thick. I have about 5/16" thick measured, which is even less than 3/8"! It's also not entirely flat so can only be used over a kitchen towel or other soft surface. The 14" x 17" chopping board (cost: $16.58) I received had no handle (okay, I didn't want a handle); it was actually 13.8 x 16.8 inches (I agree), but it was only 0.34 inches (11/32 inches) thick. So this cutting board is NOT 0.38" (3/8"+) thick. 3/8" (0.375") is the absolute minimum allowable thickness for a polyester cutting board of this size (14x17" +/-).
