Already well marked for cutlery and knife accessories

I was looking forward to a new sturdy chopping board, it already has plenty of marks from every crush from my knives and doesn't look like it will last very long. Maybe that's typical for a cutting board like this, but it's not what I expected. Washes well in the dishwasher or by hand.
