Review on Seachem Neutral Regulator 1 Kilo by Darrick Dobbin

I am relatively new to the hobby and have been studying water parameters and chemistry for a few months now. Most experts highly recommend using the water that comes out of your faucet (and I've been trying to buy reverse osmosis water for a while and it gave me a headache!), so that's exactly how I started. (Again, this is about raising fish that will thrive in your water without having to mess with PH, KH, and GH - unless you're an expert). Having said that, I couldn't find any fish that liked being in water with a pH of 9.9 or higher! (And YES, I have confirmed this in my water board's water report.) I have now read many reviews and articles about using a neutral regulator. I'm by no means obsessed with a perfect pH of 7, but having a stable pH that's appropriate for my fish and the neutral regulator helped me achieve that. It's a good price, and with Prime's free shipping and no taxes, it's a great deal. **UPDATE: Having used this product for 18 months (and keeping track of the water parameters and water addition levels at every water change) I continue to be very happy with it. The water in my pool is stable and I haven't had any problems with it. I have three yoyos, a zebra fighter, three upside down cats, three rasboras and a lone swordsman. Everyone looks plump, happy and balanced. If you have water problems and can't afford a large home water system, THIS is the way to go.
