Overall good value for money. One negative

I bought 2 of these to replace my old, worn out bathroom fixtures. I'm semi-DIY and have already installed a kitchen faucet. My work here was more difficult because the old faucets had copper tubing installed that went to the faucets with no flexible connections. There was also only one set of shutoffs for both faucets, so I installed shutoffs for each water line in the meantime. Installing the faucet was otherwise pretty easy. It was more difficult to install a drain without leaks. I did most of this myself due to my lack of experience. One important thing I learned was to put a good ball of putty between the floors of the sink and the thick conical rubber washer that goes around the A drainpipe goes. This finally stopped all the leaks for me. The faucets look beautiful as long as you wipe off any water droplets that get on them. Otherwise, water stains are clearly visible - at least on the bronze-colored version I bought. I am not enthusiastic about the water flow, as I am used to the higher flow of older devices. But we'll get used to that. But I have a big minus. The flange around the drain hole is (pardon my layman terminology) thick and higher than the bottom of the sink. So when you use the sink there is a circuit of water that doesn't drain. It's enough that it doesn't just dry in the air. I assume that over time this will lead to mineral deposits around the flange. I didn't even include the rubber washer that goes under that flange because it lifts it up a bit more. Instead, I applied clear bathroom silicone under the flange during assembly. You could probably use putty as well. Either way, this works well but still leaves too much water in the sink. I can look for a replacement drain that is metal. I suspect that the plastic flange needs to be thicker to have the required strength. Of course, replacing the drain fitting requires an additional purchase, and hopefully I can find one that's close in color to the faucets. Overall, I think it's good value for money, especially if you can live with the drain that comes with it. . The faucets are beautiful and fully functional.
