Solid. Perfect fit for the stock FJ rack!
I added some foam rubber inside and attached them to my standard FJ roof rack. There's no movement at all, and two of them can easily support the weight of a 5-foot hi-lift. If you want to do the same, add some 3" all-thread bolts, some red threadlock and some aluminum grips and you're done.
