Review on πŸ₯” Imusa 9.5-Inch Long Black Potato and Bean Masher with Ergonomic Comfort Grip Handle by Tina Jones

Pretty and pretty bad Handle

I chose this bean stuffer because of the unique head design. When the crusher arrived, the handle was broken. Designed to accommodate the chrome accent by guiding the handle piece. This channel reduces the cross-sectional area by 60%. So there is very little material in the handle that resists bending. As a result, every bend will cause the handle to break. Without the chrome accent, the design would be more than adequate. This is an example of looks over functionality. The product arrived in a bubble envelope which offered little protection from shipping conditions. The box would allow it to arrive whole and then I could hang it up in the kitchen as a decoration. That's all it's good for, as the handle design ensures it won't break with rough use. You know, gross usage, like when you mash beans to make overcooked beans!

Pros
  • Built-in hanging hole
Cons
  • Too blunt
