I have this system installed on my caravan and pickup (see photo). The seller asked me if I was happy with the system and even offered to send me an extra cable to power the camera, which I mounted on the truck shed. I want to be able to power the camera on the truck from the console. I used a higher rated cable than the system cable because the distance from the power switch on the console in the truck to the camera was about 25 feet and I didn't want a voltage drop that could disturb the camera. Install a second camera off center on my trailer as the ladder is centrally located and I was concerned that if someone climbed onto the roof the camera might be damaged. In addition, the stairs interfere with the review. There is a small issue with adjusting the viewing angle on the trailer due to the design of the mounting bracket and the location of the mounting screw holes. I could see the bumper from either 15 feet away or so, or 35 feet away to infinity. I'd like to see the trailer from about 50 feet away, but I don't need to see as close as the bumper since I carry bikes on a rack that extends about 3 feet from the bumper. I will adjust the wedge to achieve the desired viewing angle.
