not enough, cheaply made

poor quality, cheaply made. Haven't used Delco AC filters since the late 90's so figured I'd go back for that price. big mistake. When installing it, I was struck by how thin and cheap the glass was. Not to mention the plastic core. Indeed? Anyway, I've got 5000,000 miles on my regular Maxlife compound. After removing it with an oil filter wrench I found how I could squeeze the can with my bare hand lol. Well I put a whore on it and sure enough she crushed the can (and no I didn't over tighten it), it was nothing more than twisted metal before I had to pierce it with a lever screwdriver. Also when draining the oil I noticed how dirty it was for only 5000k. never before have i had such dirty oil at bosch, wix or mobil 1. boy i remember in my 93 s10 days i only bought ac delco filters, heavy duty and steel cores, its really sad that it worked so horribly . not much h cheap glass but obviously dirty oil. really shows that a quality filter makes a big difference

Pros
  • Has a grease seal to reduce torque during installation
Cons
  • Appearance
