Description of πŸ”§ ACDelco GM PF52E Oil Filter: Original Equipment for Efficient Engine Care

Is 20-25% smaller in size, yet has more filtration media for greater capacity. Has 10 times more open area in the core for improved flow. Has a steel shell, threaded plate assembly, and leaf spring that can all be recycled. Has a non-metallic cartridge that can be crushed to remove oil and can then be used as an energy source. Has a lubricity gasket for reduced installation torque. Has a full cover baseplate for easy installation in blind applications. Has a nylon core for higher strength and better flow characteristics. No metallic components on 'clean side' of filter media, therefore eliminating possible metallic contamination. Injection molded nylon core increases the structural strength to almost twice that of a traditional metal core. Synthetic end caps are ultrasonically welded to prevent media blocked by adhesives used in traditional filters.

Great Filters: Oil Filters and Accessories

Only filters that I use on my Chevy Blazer 4.3 4x4. Good quality and easy installation. I always use these filters when I change my oil, I've never had a leakage problem like I've had problems with other aftermarket filters. You can't go wrong with OEM parts.

Pros
  • Features a full wraparound base plate for easy installation in blind installations
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Very disappointed with the Delco factory AC filter. Not even a bypass valve. I don't understand why he had an e at the end of the part number. The economy, what a shame. If you want a filter that cheap I would look for another brand.

Pros
  • Has a steel body, threaded plate and leaf spring that can be recycled.
Cons
  • Available in white only.

Anti-drain valve helps muffle lifter rumble

Seems to help my GMC Sierra 2008 K1500 start up. Didn't know other brands of filters let oil back flow, but this one has a valve to prevent that. Since the change, the oil consumption between the changes is lower and the booming of the lift is significantly reduced.

Pros
  • No metal components on the 'clean side' of the filter media, eliminating possible metal contamination
Cons
  • Disappearance

can't match the price of these OEM filters

WOW stock up! The price of these OEM filters can not be lower than the price. Note: * Warm up the engine to allow the oil to become thinner/thinner and drain faster. Remove the top filler hole to improve drain speed. *! If the new filter won't bolt on, make sure the old rubber ring is removed from the truck. Sometimes the rubber ring gets stuck in the truck instead of being removed with the old filter.* Magnetic drain plug for collecting shavings.* A new drain plug ring is also a good idea.*…

Pros
  • has a nylon core for strength and improved flow
Cons
  • unreliable

not enough, cheaply made

poor quality, cheaply made. Haven't used Delco AC filters since the late 90's so figured I'd go back for that price. big mistake. When installing it, I was struck by how thin and cheap the glass was. Not to mention the plastic core. Indeed? Anyway, I've got 5000,000 miles on my regular Maxlife compound. After removing it with an oil filter wrench I found how I could squeeze the can with my bare hand lol. Well I put a whore on it and sure enough she crushed the can (and no I didn't over tighten…

Pros
  • Has a grease seal to reduce torque during installation
Cons
  • Appearance
