Total junk on alternators

I got this for a project I was repairing and this alternator is a total junk! Don't waste your time! Brand new and it is shorted. The company tells me that Amazon needs to be replaced, but they don't and only send manufacturer feedback. Don't buy a generator online. Lesson learned. Spend the money at your local auto parts store so you can get it back.
