Review on Gladiator Heavy Duty Trailer Cargo Net for 5x8 ft Trailers (SUT-100) - 7.3' x 9.3' by Dwayne Meurer

I bought this (Rubicon Gladiator) to use on a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 2 door with a Gobi roof rack. Even if it is very well made and the hardware is very solid, it is not suitable for my application. The first problem is that the network itself is not the right size for this application. It's too big. The second problem is the hardware. The hooks are too small to catch on the crossbars of the roof rack. There is literally nowhere to hook them and they are useless to me. Thing is, I bought the wrong setup but just wanted to let everyone know trying to do something similar to make sure they get the right web/hook combo. They sell S hooks which might work but I opted for ratchet straps instead. It's not perfect and takes longer to fix, but it works. Overall quality is good, there are some frayed straps but this probably won't affect durability. The net is convenient and allows you to secure small items that can squeeze through a regular net. Buy the right setup and it will give you peace of mind and last a long time.
