We are constantly updating existing cabinets and some customers want new handles and pull rods with a different distance between them. We primarily use the Kreg jig, but this customer wanted 2 different sizes and only one of them fit the Kreg jig. There were many options for similar products at much lower prices. Reviews were mixed, but most said the quality of the instrument was poor. I wanted something precise and for a long time. Yes I paid more for this unit but I know it will last for many years. Scales are easy to read and accurate. The tool is made of aluminum and looks very high quality. I was able to set up the device quickly and pierced 40 doors and drawers in about 2 hours. Without the 3 different sizes everything would have gone much faster! Basically, it paid for itself with the first draft. Some of the cheaper kits came with a bag. This comes with a plastic case to protect it. It comes with a drill bit, but plan to buy a new one if you plan to use it professionally. It just wasn't very sharp and it took a bit of effort to get through 3/4" thick oak. Drill bits are cheap and easily replaced. The rest of the tool will last for many years with good care!
