- I checked too early. Came home a couple of times to find our pup was able to escape from the side zip. I had to send it back. - It seems to be a pretty strong box. Time will tell but so far the pup has been playing around with the new cage and hasn't damaged the mesh or zippers when scratching it. Now he loves it and even our little dog wears it to hide with toys. Easy to assemble, almost assembles itself. Lots of details like reinforced corners, handles, latches to keep it closed. I haven't figured out how to "rip" the zippers, but he hasn't escaped yet, so maybe I don't know. Very happy with it and would recommend!
