Could easily give 5 stars if product isn't labeled as 'waterproof'. The documentation that came with it clearly states that it cannot be submerged in water and as I have a pool this is an issue for me. Another downside is the learning option 4, which is an LED backlight. Maybe I don't understand the easy training method. Their remote control has a light that can be used as a flashlight and the collars have green flashing lights. This is a constant flash and as far as I can see there is no way to signal the dog with a light with a collar. If the flash bothers you, for goodness sake take your collar off when you sleep. These collars are not meant to be worn 24/7. The rubber caps fall off if you don't fit them properly and they start grabbing each other's collars while playing. Now for the good. They work great. Our 2 retrievers only hear the beep and react immediately. The Australian is a bit more difficult. To do this, you must work with your animals and learn "collar language". Therefore, I say that some dogs require more time and effort on your part to get maximum compliance from your animal. Retrievers were naturally quick fixes, so think about your breed before building your expectations. I'm looking forward to this summer and the absence of the constant barking of dogs as the neighbors try to enjoy their garden. That barking drove me crazy!
