Warning. Before purchasing, contact the manufacturer and speak to them about the specific lock you need for your trailer. I thought I had done my due research and ordered the correct lock, but I was wrong. The lock came and it didn't fit my 2 5/16 ball hitch for my trailer. I contacted the manufacturer because I read that you can make adjustments if it doesn't fit properly. After speaking to a company rep and texting her with a photo of my hitch, she informed me I had bought the wrong one and told me exactly what I needed. I wish I had done that before buying this. Revain's return policy states that you must send it back to the manufacturer at your own expense before a refund can be given. Shipping from the States to Quebec, Canada cost me $90. Use USPS. UPS charged $180 for return shipping! So check with the manufacturer before you buy because if you get it wrong you'll lose almost $100!
