Review on Enhanced TrueTwo Wrangler JK Jeep 2.5 Inch Coil Spacer Suspension Lift Kit for Optimal Performance by Deejay Devarashetty

The best budget lift for $90!

I wanted to build my 2012 Jeep Wrangler (JK) a little taller, put on 285-70/17R tires and launch my boat. I haven't seen a need to spend over $400 on a 2-3 inch lift kit. I first bought a Daystar @ 1.75" kit but there wasn't enough buoyancy to keep the jeep out of the water when the boat was lifted. With this 2.5" lift I get with one 19" Bayliner on a trailer about 2" lift. To make sure my jeep was level I used the front isolators and removed the rear ones. I bought rear stabilizer bars to ensure proper alignment. I have them in one Driveway set up in 90 degree heat with two Hein-Werner HW93506 6 ton jacks to raise the car very high for spring removal and underbody work. The car is a little nicer. It's an exaggeration but I felt very confident using them , as they offer a maximum lift height of 25 3/4 in. I recommend using PB Lube for installing spacers on the front pipes and a good ratchet wrench set, as with my hit and regular set I have a had a hard time. At least for the rear you need spring compressors. I could get enough front lift to get away. I used an ABN MacPherson Strut Spring Compressor as it's cheap and snaps well on the springs with a pin. Use them slowly and make sure not much of the threaded tubing is showing towards the body of the jeep when installing the springs, DO NOT HAVE TO! Total labor time with hand tools and minimal help (wife to get stuff for me) took about 3.5 hours. It was one of the easiest do-it-yourself elevators. Cost $$$: Jacks: 94 Stabilizer Brackets: 25 Wrench Set: 40 Jacks: 60 Compressors: 25 Labor Cost = 244 and my time. To save money, you can rent spring compressors. For your local auto shop, make sure you have truck spring compressors.
