Push-Loc fittings are used in this system. The ID of the included hose is a little small for the included fittings and the lubrication required, as well as the HUGE AMOUNT OF TIME AND PRESSURE to get the fittings all the way into the hose. I have no experience with kits from other brands so I can't compare them. I bought a hose and separate fittings and NEVER put that much effort into assembly. Bottom line, it's a very reasonable price and the end result will work.
