good - these rails are very durable and fully correspond to the description. I've installed them in the back of my Jeep and built a shelf to pull out with all my touring and off-road gear - they're more than capable of supporting all the weight of what I'm packing. The surface is smooth, sliding is easy, and they were easy to install. A NOTICE. You do NOT have to take them apart, folks. As you slide the sliders in and out, holes will appear that align so you can install hardware. If you try to knock out a pin, STOP. Open the slider and look along the length, you will see where/how to install the screws through the holes. The bad - as mentioned, the holes for a #10 screw are drilled and beveled, or so it appears. There are a number of round and oblong holes - the #10 screws fit perfectly into the round holes and sit exactly how you want them. Unfortunately, the slotted holes allow the screws to slip through even at the smallest angle. I tried a dozen times to get one of the slotted holes to work but it just didn't work. I ended up welding a stud to one of the slotted holes, sanded it down from the side of the track and used it. I had to do it on one side because I had already drilled a hole in the jeep and didn't want to drill the other one. On the other hand I just drilled my own hole in the slider instead of trying to make the dumb slotted holes work. If the manufacturer made the hole in the slotted holes a bit narrower, the screws wouldn't fall out so easily and it would be much easier to manage, better yet make all the holes perfectly round. I will buy this product again just knowing that the slotted holes are a bit tricky to use.
