Review on 🚪 Don-Jo 90 Metal Kick Plate, Duro Coated, 30 Inch Width x 8 Inch Height, 0.047 Inch Thick by Tom Lantz

I would give this 4 stars because the color was good and matched what I have, it is a very dark oil bronze (almost black). It got 3 stars from me, but I probably should give it 2 stars for the following reasons: 1. The first two shipped were damaged. The second ones were much less damaged but still dented in the corners. I didn't want to send it back again so I just accepted the imperfections and carefully pulled the dent out with cloth pliers. 2. The equipment he sent had screws of different colors. I had 2 panels so I needed 20 screws. 2 bags with 10 screws each were included. In 1 pack there were 5 screws rubbed with dark oil, and in the SAME pack there were 5 silver screws. What the hell! In the other pocket, ALL the screws are silver! #QC issue. 3. The third and most frustrating part was that I used several screws of the right color and one of the heads was cut off. I also drilled pilot holes to prevent twisting. Just bad quality. I had to drill it open which resulted in a date for the door I just spent 2 days finishing it. I find that the second panels came very quickly after I reported damage and there were no problems returning the first. I didn't try to contact the company about the hardware issue because I just didn't have the time, but given the customer service I received, they would probably fix it.
