🚪 Don-Jo 90 Metal Kick Plate, Duro Coated, 30 Inch Width x 8 Inch Height, 0.047 Inch Thick Review

I have ordered two 30" dark bronze plates. I received one that was correct and another that looked like a refund someone had made. Not only was it open before, it was 36 inches tall and a glowing bronze color.

The color matches, there were screws of the right color, but they are not very suitable for mounting on a metal door. The packaging was a thin paper bag and the screws were tightly wrapped in one end of the paper. I could see someone skipping them and accidentally throwing them away. I am satisfied, looks good and fits my needs - the dog is scratching here instead of the door

Two doorplates ordered. There were no color options, but the photo showed oiled bronze. When they arrived, one was oiled bronze and the other brass. I wasted no time returning the copper plate. I just bought some metal spray paint and made an oiled bronze out of the brass. Advertising should clearly state what metal trim they have and if there are color or style options, a way to order what is needed. Also, they were exactly what I needed and arrived on time.

According to the product photo, the metal plate was not completely black. Two of the three plates I ordered were bent at the corners and all the plates had many scratches showing a very light color on the bottom. The packaging seemed secure, but the damage to the records suggested otherwise. The holes in the panels were too small for any of the screws I was going to use, so I had to use a drill to widen the holes. I would give this 4 stars because the color was good and matched what I have, it is a very dark oil bronze (almost black). It got 3 stars from me, but I probably should give it 2 stars for the following reasons: 1. The first two shipped were damaged. The second ones were much less damaged but still dented in the corners.
