Review on ChiaoGoo Twist Interchangeable Knitting Needle by Morgan Gilmore

I've been using the Clover Takumi replacement kit for a while now, but have long wanted to switch to a metal kit. After some thought and research, I settled on the 4" Chiaogoo replacement needles. By themselves, these needles are shorter than 4 inches and give me cramps like hell. When it's connected to a string, the length of the metal reaches 4 inches, but that little bit of length lost in the needle is really quite tactile in the hands. The needles are about 3.75" long. You can see in the attached photos that they are not a full 4". Clover needles are not a standard 4 inch size (needles get longer the bigger they are), but they are all shorter than 5 inches and the ones I have are most (US 3-8 or 3.25-4.00 mm). fit size about 4". I have never had a problem with these needles and I really like this length so I expected them to be an absolute hit. Unfortunately this slight loss of length made this set a complete failure. After one few strokes my right arm hurt st ark and I felt it in my shoulder. I have really small hands and wanted to go for 4" Chiaogoo's instead of 5" as I make a lot of hats and love the 16" sleeve pin but they made my arms and arms so tired. I'll be back and buy a 5- "Set in inches. If cramps don't bother you, this is a really good set. The connection is smooth and I didn't notice any loosening of the needles when I screwed them in with the pen and the needles feel nice and tight despite their light weight This was just an oversight for me as the needles are shorter than expected and causing me too much discomfort.
