I am 5-11 years old, slim build, 170#, large size fits perfectly. motorcycle every day. My Joe Rocket mesh, while great for an armored jacket, can be a bit oversized. This t-shirt keeps you cool on hot days, never feels uncomfortable, doesn't itch, and looks cheap (like my second Fly t-shirt, which was $10 cheaper). It has NO padding, although the material seems to resist tearing in some falls. So of course you need your own armor. On my CRF250 I rode most of the time without armor, cooler, whatever the weather, I wore an armored force field under my shirt. But of course I put on the armor for the CRF1000. It is very stylish for racers and off-road.
