After 13 years of service my original footpegs broke. These Smittybilt replacements fit perfectly and were easy to install (once I figured out the trick). They are easy to install using the progressive clip to insert the dowel pins into the appropriate holes. At first I thought I could just use a hammer to tap the pads in place. Don't waste your time; it will not work. First install the metal mounting sleeves into the holes in the footpegs. Then spray the holes in the sleeves with sticky lubricant. Align the footpeg mounting pins over the holes, then use the clips to slowly insert the footpeg pins into the appropriate mounting holes. Light!
