This camera and monitor are very good at a very reasonable price. The backup camera on my 2015 VW CC failed so the only real option was to install a new system. The picture quality is good and the system is easy to install in most vehicles. After reading the instructions, I realized that in order to transmit power to the camera, a relay must be installed in German cars. The relay was easy to install by connecting to the positive wire on the back of the trunk accessory socket. The only downside I found was that the metal plate on the back of the monitor, which attaches to the mount with a magnet, didn't stick to the monitor. I applied some yellow contact cement to the plate and the problem was solved. Read and understand the instructions before beginning the installation.
