If you have a carbon bike with an odd shape and/or thin tubes that don't fit well on a traditional stand then this is for you. It's also just a great platform if you're building a bike from a frameset. I still use a regular seatpost clamp stand for everyday use, but this is my go-to choice for more advanced mechanical work. At this price, the stand is an absolute bargain. It is well made and has everything you need. The small work tray is actually a decent little bonus, which I also really liked. Since this isn't my main work stand, it's great that it folds up compactly and can be stored in my garage. Very happy with it and if you are a DIY enthusiast and bike builder this stand is perfect.
