Just bought a second one. I had 9 years from my first before there was a small leak. It could probably be fixed, but I didn't want to waste time finding/fixing the hole. The large size is perfect for a full size pickup, but they make up for the smaller ones. and they were closer to the corners so I had some trouble tying it down (the 10" elastic just held it loose in my truck). The new ones seem to have a plastic grommet, but they've only moved it inward enough that the same straps have to stretch a bit to attach them. This appears to be an improvement. Believe it or not, the guide is worth reading - there are some useful tips there. One mistake I made on my first one was pulling out the filler neck. While this makes it easy to attach/detach the filler hose, re-inserting the filler neck is very difficult and you don't want the filler neck sticking out.
