Great idea with very bad design around filling and emptying. There's no place to put your fingers in the recess to tighten the lid and cheap plastic components that won't stand up to years of use. Considering sending it back because of a very good idea but unfortunately with a flawed design.

I purchased this item in 2019 after moving my truck from California to Colorado, only had a Dodge Ram 1500 2WD and was concerned about driving in the snow without a 4WD truck. I have to say that it exceeded all my expectations. Worth buying. It worked well and gave me the extra weight I needed without having to put sandbags or salt in the bed. I would recommend this to anyone who has a 2WD to help with the weight and doesn't want a mess in bed. It will not replace chains in inclement weather. I

Very easy to install; load, place and (not included) attach elastic bands to the hooks at each corner. The disadvantage of this bottle is the good accessibility of the filler neck threads. It would help if it sticks out higher during the water filling process to ensure a better connection. Second, put the inner plug back into the hole, and finally install the outer plug to prevent leakage. ok. It's okay, but it doesn't match the straps. The mobile app may not show this detail. It is not easy to connect the hose connector to the suction part. It's sunken, which is handy once you've filled the water, but not too easy when you first fill it up. It looked as if water had filled the partitions; but it's just a big bubble. Still good I guess as left turns push the weight of the water to the right for better traction and vice versa. No additional clutch sold yet. I had snow here in Indy

Just bought a second one. I had 9 years from my first before there was a small leak. It could probably be fixed, but I didn't want to waste time finding/fixing the hole. This is my second - the first lasted quite a while but I overfilled it once and it leaked. The second one I got is designed differently and not better. The second doesn't have any sharp partitions between the four chambers of the bladder, making it look more like a large water bag. Nice that we don't have sandbags that have nowhere to go every year. Easy to use, fill, drain, etc. The inlet could be changed. I agree with other reviewers that it's annoying, but still better than sandbags that want to rip and splash everywhere. However, the baffles that keep the water from sloshing from side to side have come loose/torn and now the water actually buckles/shifts when rotated.
