It took me some time to figure out how this attachment connects to my 20 lb propane tank. I was looking for a standard rust fitting (with large black plastic, with wide threads). Find out, the thread on this fitting goes into the same groove on the grate. To speed things up I bought a second armature with a sensor: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09VZWRSCF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1 so it can live on the torch. and a quick connection to the tank, just like a grill. Once I figured that out, I also bought one that would fit a standard 1lb tank that you would use for a camping heater or standard propane lamp. It is not yet known whether this will work. I tried it on a nearly empty tank I had laying around and it didn't provide enough constant pressure to work. I will update when I have better luck. Overall I'm very happy with it. Works great on shrubs and weeds. Also ideal for starting a fire. LOVE that it has a push button starter and the dial allows you to get pressure right where you need it.
