I bought a stant-lock gas cap but it hurt so I put the original cap back on. Fuel pressure is still required. It started out slow and intermittently "gulped" through the throttle body. The retailer's limit price was too high. I ventured that it seemed something as simple as the cap was wrong. (I was desperate) This fixed the problem, didn't cost an arm or a leg and was exactly the same as stock. Now I just need over 50 degrees winter so I can ride it all year round.
