Fits my '99 Mustang. However, it does not click at the end of the round. I have previously purchased an unbranded cap from a local parts store but am not happy with how it feels when tightened. This cap comes with a hanger, as shown, that mates with one of the three mounting screws that attach the fuel tank to the body panel insert. This will require an approximately 8mm socket or equivalent. The gas cap also works without a latch, but will not stay in place when filling the tank unless this hanger is secured.
