D-Link USB wireless adapters seem to be the most reliable choice for Mac/Hackintosh computers, if only for the drivers provided by can be downloaded from their website. . Some other brands just don't support anything other than Windows based desktops/laptops. In terms of speed, everything was great. The connection would drop from time to time, but simply turning my wifi on/off would have helped. This might be an issue for some, but it hasn't happened often enough to justify a return or a different adapter. Be careful not to accidentally hit or bend the adapter as it is very fragile. Mine was plugged into the front USB port on my desktop and I hit it with my knee and it flexed a bit and stopped working. I moved it back and forth and saw it connect and disconnect. Apart from that, it's worth the money
