My +1 doesn't need or want to be in constant touch. He had an old, cheap droid that he didn't like from day one. He stopped working. This phone with Tracfone service suits him. It's a bit tricky to program as there is no "keyboard" but I knew what was going on. I set it up, added it to my favorites and it was ready to use. I've made a few calls with it, and the calls were clear with no glitches or dropouts. The battery had a good life despite not using it for long calls. Seems strong enough. Haven't connected to Blue Tooth yet. If you like texting then this phone probably isn't a great choice, although you can send and receive text messages, not having a keyboard can be a deal breaker. If you just want a basic phone, this phone might be for you. At the moment, the purchase is the most satisfied.
