I have a full size pickup truck with a long bed. The kind that can hold a sheet of plywood on the bed. This net will cover my bed once the net is tightened. If you think you're going to have weights that won't protrude over the bed, you may need a smaller net. After that has been said. We had to fit 12 port cargo D-rings around the inside of the body to secure the mesh (almost as much as cost). It required a little work and extra expense. I suppose you could hold it with 4 rings but that could end up hitting the target. This weekend we rode the grid for about 8 hours. I love that it includes aluminum snap hooks. Also a good diameter cord. The load is held securely, no complaints.
