I have half a dozen of these timers scattered around my house at all times. Kitchen, BBQ, Garage etc. Have used them for many years and they have always worked great. But there was always one small annoying problem, the cord is attached to a separate piece of plastic that is glued to the bottom of the timer. Sooner or later this part will come off and when you use the cable you will have to glue it again. I never use a strap so that's not a problem for me, but in all the years they've been making these timers you'd think they've come up with a better method of attachment. I don't understand the comment in the FAQ above about the magnet on the back of the timer. Because a lot of the ones I've owned over the years, none of them ever came with a magnet.
