The buttons are too sensitive but otherwise work as they should and the noise is loud enough even when covered with an apron and next to plenty of running water from a sink faucet.

I had one of these for 20 years of weekly use and it eventually died. I was pleased to learn that it is still available. The tip is excellent and the control system is very simple. It's a great short time.

I have half a dozen of these timers scattered around my house at all times. Kitchen, BBQ, Garage etc. Have used them for many years and they have always worked great. But there was always one small annoying problem, the cord is attached to a separate piece of plastic that is glued to the bottom of the timer. The buttons are very sensitive and the device has to hang completely out of clothing or it may stop counting or change settings (disaster!).
