Review on Efficient Oil Extractor: Stens 051-703 - Simplify Oil Changes and Maintenance by Mark Jefferson

I bought the device about 3 years ago and have had mixed results with it. I liked it at first as it was easy to change the oil with it (a big plus was not having to remove the floor pan). Changing the transmission oil in my old truck also worked wonders. However, I have noticed that the device is very weather dependent and hoses don't like to stay on their fittings. It also sometimes drips out of the pump. Another reviewer stated that it's more ergonomic because it inflates laterally (similar to a bicycle pump) compared to vertical, and I can't help but agree. A 3 star rating is appropriate considering I've been in the service for over 3 years, but it could easily have been designed better.
